I was strolling around when I noticed this shop around my hood. I've actually went to the Wanchai branch a few months ago and enjoyed every bit of it. So I went in to try this branchs' quality. Their menu is served in both English and in Chinese.I noticed that the diners here actually had bowls on their tables so I thought that this branch serves noodles better than rice meals. So I ended up with Pork chop with udon with a hot lemon with honey drink ($50). Cold drinks are $2 more. My drink came
I noticed that the diners here actually had bowls on their tables so I thought that this branch serves noodles better than rice meals. So I ended up with Pork chop with udon with a hot lemon with honey drink ($50). Cold drinks are $2 more. My drink came out in half a minute literally. The drink itself is very addictive. The sweetness level was perfect and was to my liking. I was just very surprised that a local drink in a local restaurant can be so addictive. I'm very curious what brand of honey they use as I would like to drink it when I'm feeling under the weather.

While waiting, I noticed that more and more people were coming in and was asked to move seats to give way to groups. When I sat into a new seat, that's when I realized that this branch uses bowls for both rice meals and noodles. (I think I got a plate when I ordered a rice meals at the Wanchai branch.) It was then that I got a good grasp of the whole room - that it was all but me who was eating rice meals. I was so out of place. I just hoped that I didn't end up regretting my orders again.
After a few minutes later, my order arrived. The soup was really good. I can taste each of the spices' flavors. The udon wasn't the same kind that I usually get at any Japanese stalls. Theirs were thinner than the usual thick ones. Nevertheless, it was still good. Maybe they get their udon at some specialty place. Vegetables were good and crunchy. The chives were at a decent amount. You can ask for more and a staff will give you a bowl of it, along with a bowl of fried garlic chips. As for the pork chop, I had a really hard time eating this. I wished the chef had cut it into slices first before serving it to me because lifting this huge chop with my chopsticks was really difficult. From the chops' top to the bottom, it was aromatic, was especially tender and very juicy. I can taste the chops' charedness at its edges and the rosemary spice wasn't burnt to a crisp. After taking into account every bite of this chop, I feel that the chefs and the owner, in particular, take especially good care of their meat.

Cash, Octopus, VISA, Mastercard are accepted. There is no 10% charge. I definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a pick-me-up. I noticed that many liked to order the Octopus lotus cakes with grilled chicken rice meal and also the Grilled chicken with scrambled eggs rice meal.
