I usually go for Dunkel when it comes to German food but this time I picked Franziskaner, a floral Weissbier with hints of vanilla and banana which tasted crisp and sweet with a dry finish.
Was starving and ordered a big sausage platter to share which included Bratwurst, Weisswurst, Wiener and chili sausage. Great variety of flavors. Served sizzling hot. Extremely juicy. As I put the fork into the sausage, the meat juice exploded!
Suckling pig was crispy on the outside and tender inside. Smooth leg meat with crunchy bones. Delicately seasoned. Served with gravy.
