Leffe Blond and BruneI always order their Leffe Brune because strong dark beer is always my favourite. Their draft beer and house wine is on happy hour promotion with half price.
Frites House Mussels 1/2KG $235We didn't picked the classic one because we would like to try something different. This warm pot of shellfish is prepared with light cream sauce, with loads of tomato, garlic, onion, red peppers, and finely chopped chives.
The mussels soaks in its almost subtle white wine taste. The shellfish is really big in size this time, I remember it is a bit bigger than last time, yet the taste is slightly lighter than before, it may be due to the lighter sauce that goes with this pot. A mouthful of light cream, crunchy veggies, went heavenly with the pumped juicy mussels. The half kg of mussels was just enough to share among 2 people!
Besides, the pot has to come with some nicely buttered and toasted rustic bread for you to dip into the sauce! Do you know that you are actually supposed to tear the bread into pieces and let them sit in the sauce?
Some frites cannot be missed at Frites, they serve their thick cut fries with thick mayo, just how I like it.

Steak and Frites $385We were recommended with this dish before we come here so we know that we have to order it! Instead of fries, we have changed it into a tomato goat cheese salad. The 14oz grilled USDA1855 Black Angus Rib Eye
We have ordered our good old medium-rare steak and it was served with truffle butter. By the look of it, the steak was done right. By the taste of it, the beef flavour was just amazingly flavourful with a strong butter taste from the beef fat itself. The harmony between the butter and the real 'butter' went crazy, while the surface gave good light crunchy edges offering a stronger chargrilled flavour.
While our mouths were already filled with some really long-tasting beef aroma, the tomato goat cheese salad gave us no disappointment. The super fresh red and orange cherry tomatoes had been halved and were mixed well with nubs of fresh smooth goat cheese. The goat cheese had a strong taste yet too overpowering. The fresh taste from the cheese definitely was surprising to me, which made this dish a beautiful compliment to the steak.
We were also told to save some room for their dessert so we have ordered 2 to share. 
Affogato $60A basic dessert with just vanilla ice cream and espresso shot. The taste from the ice cream was just average but we liked that it was cold enough, giving it a firmer texture without melting way too quickly from the hot coffee.
Sticky Date Pudding $75A moist cake sitting on a bed of thick hot butterscotch sauce and topped with fresh cream. This is a truly indulging dessert to better share with friends. The cake itself was not too sweet so you may want to try avoiding the sauce if you do not have a sweet tooth. Yet, it was still a good choice for dessert on their menu!
Espresso shot
I believe they use the same espresso from the affogato. Having it on its own, we found that it was not as strong as we expected, good for those who have just started drinking espresso. As I have to work until late again, a nice cup of caffeine after dinner is always a must for me to keep me awake!
