I had been here once or twice before the restaurant was renovated and I had been waiting to come back as the renovation was under way. So I was so happy to know that the renovation has been completed and I couldn't wait to make time for a returning visit.First thing first, I would say I love the new look of the restaurant. It looks more hip and modern, with a more high-end vibe, especially with the lounge music playing at the back lol As a customer, I'm gonna say I enjoyed sitting there!Food was

Food was as good as before. I have been a fan of their sour pork and jjampong (spicy seafood noodles). The sour pork was appetizing and the jjampong was savoury, with a very generous amount of seafood and veggies. The noodles were also chewy and had a pleasant egg flavor.
One point to note is that I love how they've upgraded their tableware. Before it was just some plain white dishes and bowls but now it's changed to some luxurious-looking oriental tableware. The classical Chinese-style tableware had definitely enhanced the dining experience in my opinion. I admire those graceful patterns on the plates, cups and bowls.
Some more significant changes to the restaurant after renovation can be seen in the service. Staff has become all English-speaking while customers are now required to place order by themselves using QR code. It seems that the restaurant is trying to build a more posh image by sacking the Cantonese-speaking staff and replacing them with some English-speaking ones lol I don't hate it but it may create inconvenience for the locals who are not that fluent in English.
