Issac Toast is so famous in Korea. I still remember the time when I purchased one in cold winter time when I was travelling in Korea. Simple ingredients present the most local taste of Korea. There are several Isaac Toast branches in Hong Kong now. Trying Isaac Toast gives me the nostalgia feeling. I miss Korea so muchMaybe having one can cheer me up when we cannot travel at the moment. This time I am having the classic Ham and Cheese Toast. It was also the 1st Issac Toast I tried in Korea. The ingredients are simple: Bread, cheese, ham, egg and lettuce slices. Yet the most important highlight of the sandwich is the secret jam. The jam is probably made of kiwi and honey I guess? It adds an amazing sweet touch and the whole sandwiche just tastes different. However, I still reckon the jam is kinda different than that I tried in Korea.
I ordered the sandwiches for takeaway and reheated it when I returned home. The sandwiches still tastes alright. The bread does not get soggy nor the ingredients.
The price is of course a bit higher in Hong Kong. It also offers some unique flavours and even deep fried chicken. I am trying the bagel series next time!
