The Sultan’s Corner is located right next to the escalator in SoHo district. Every time when I walk pass the Sultan’s Corner, I can smell the nice aroma of roasted meat from its kitchen. However, I never stop to try it out. But this time, faith brought me to meet with Sultan, as the restaurant I planned to visit before gym was not open as it should have. The menu is not really big, you just have to choose the type of meat your prefer, beef, lamb, or chicken; as well as how do you want your kebab
The menu is not really big, you just have to choose the type of meat your prefer, beef, lamb, or chicken; as well as how do you want your kebab to be, wrap or bowl or burger like. I chose this lamb & beef kebab wrap which allowed me to try two types of meat in one go.
The kebab came in a massive wrap, money worth it for HKD$78. I adore the juicy beef and lamb so much!!! The yogurt that mixed in it was amazing. It did top up the flavor of the whole wrap and made the whole thing very juicy and enjoyable. To my surprise, I found a few fries tucked on the side in the kebab! Oh my god! I am in love!
A roll or wrap could be quite difficult to eat with, if you are a clumsy eater like me, you often find stuffing falling out from time to time, or sauce leaking out from the bottom. I am fine with all those but my hands often get quite dirty for such dining experience. But the Sultan’s Corner did an amazing job here! The kebab was nicely and skillfully wrapped with a piece of paper, which held the ingredients firmly inside the kebab and prevented any of them from falling out during my whole dining. Also, the wrapper was thick enough to contain the sauce and none was left dripping. Perfecto!
