This little restaurant has been around for around 4 years. Having heard that it’s sort of in the same group as Yardbird would give you some sort of guarantee re food, if not its drinks or vibes. Surprising there was no queue on a Friday night - perhaps the hype has died down but that’s better for true diners! I have a friend who is an extremely loyal customer of Chino and she can vouch that there isn’t a need for queuing up lately...anyway...I have been here for two or three times and I haven’t

I have been here for two or three times and I haven’t been let down. Their drinks are much Japanese inspired and is reasonably priced (given its size). Selection is extensive.
Food there always gives you a pleasant surprise and they always have something new. I had the Tuna dish (excuse my goldfish memory for not noting the name) as appetiser and it got our appetite going. The soft/hard tacos came well designed and balanced with pull pork and very tender chicken. The portion for taco is admittedly relatively small but it means more options! The prices are reasonable for main dish.
Seats at the bar provide hooks for bags which is good for ladies. There are around 10-15 seats at the table area for bigger parties. Bartender and servers at the restaurant are friendly.
Chic design overall - the restaurant is located at ground floor of a very cool refurbished Chinese style building. Be sure to check it out.
