I had been eating traditional Chinese food for the past few days and I actually really want to eat other cuisine. So my boyfriend took me to this new exciting restaurant. The theme of this restaurant is camping. The furnitures were alll wooden; there were tents and ropes all around the place. It really gives you a vision of what a camp site looks like. The staff was friendly and she suggested some of their famous dishes to us. While we were looking through the menu, the other staff asked if we want to order some drinks first. So we got a Kornenbourg 1664 and Zen. "Zen" is actually a refreshing juices which contains avocado, lemon, apple and honey. The colour is green because of the avocado. The juice was something new to me, it was sweet and the texture was like frappuccino. Avocado and honey stand out the most.

Not long after we ordered, the beef soup and bread arrived. The bread was warm and crispy. The beef soup was sosososo good. It was beefy and had strong tomato flavour. There were lots of beef and veggies in the soup. They were all cut up in small cubes so it was easy for us to eat. I love to dip the bread in the soup and then eat it.
The hot dip came next, it was a fiery marinara dip with eggplant, jack, cheddar and parmesan. I mixed the dip with the egg yolk. It was spicy but TASTY, you just can't resist the flavour. The texture was thick and it tasted so good with the tortillas! I wish they put more cheese in it.

The mixed seafood skillet arrived right after we finished our starter. It smelt so nice. The calamari was stretchy but easy to chew. The prawns were big and meaty. It tasted even better after dipping into the marinara sauce. The mussels were fresh and soft. It was easy to take off the shell. The fish fillets were tender and soft. I like to eat them with the garlic bread. The garlic bread was crunchy, I think they were home-made because I could taste different type of herbs.
The chargrilled short rib came last. We ordred the 16Oz and it was enough for the two of us. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The meat was tender and juicy. I don't know what they use to marinate the rib but the outer layer was crispy and sweet. I love the sweetness a lot. The meat was cooked exactly we wanted which was medium well. I also like to eat the meat with some of the fat.
I will definitely go back again because I like the decoration a lot. I saw that they had private room as well so you can have a private party.
