It has been a while we visited Brick Lane. We especially picked the restaurant at Admiralty as it is not also over crowded and we could have some space for chatting.We ordered a few dishes to share.Prawn salad. The salad is quite refreshing with spinach and mixed green and the prawns are nice though a bit over cooked.Pork. The pork is juicy and served with a slice of cooked green apple. Prawn salad. The salad is quite refreshing with spinach and mixed green and the prawns are nice though a bit over cooked.
Pork. The pork is juicy and served with a slice of cooked green apple. The green apple is seasoned with cinnamon and it matches quite well with the pork.
Fish and chips. It is always the food that I would order when I see it on the menu. I have been missing the fish and chips in UK. The fish and chips is freshly made and the chips are especially fulfilling. The batter is not too thick. I wish the fishes can be larger in size as we are all craving for a nice fish and chips.
Carbonara with poached egg. The waiter has warmly reminded us to mix the poached egg as soon as possible to have a better taste. The carbonara is rich and tastes quite nice. It's served with Parma ham and goes well with the carbonara.
Pizza topped with Parma ham. This pizza is rather small in size which is unexpected. The taste is not very outstanding and the crust is a bit burnt.
The Apple dessert is quite nice and happy birthday to our dear friend!
Overall, the taste is okay but the size was relatively small to share.
