Semua Semua is one of the most popular Malaysian restaurants in Hong Kong. I am not a Malaysian so I don’t know how authentic their food is, but I can tell they taste good (and are at reasonable prices). 😉Teh Tarik (Hot) $26 - The name of this popular drink stands for “pull tea”. Kaya Toast $35 - If you ever pay a visit to this restaurant, I would definitely recommend you to order its kaya toast. 😍
The toast is very crispy. The kaya spread has a strong taste of coconut which matches well with butter. From a nutritional perspective the toast is unhealthy, but it’s so yummy and irresistible that I would say it is a must-try.
The restaurant is nicely designed with a lot of paintings and decorations. They help create a feeling that you are indeed in South East Asia. Under current COVID time when we all struggle to travel, a nice afternoon tea at Semua Semua might act as an imaginary escape to Malaysia. ☺️
