Today i need to go Wanchai immigration building to settle some issue and when it was done, it was already nearing lunch time. After so many sinful meals during this festive period, i decided to go light for today. I walked past this Vietnamese restaurant and their food look appealing, thus i decided to give it a try. They do offer lunch set at few selections. It offers mainly noodle, bread or rice combo. All sets come with snack and drinks as well. The price ranges from $88 to $118. Lunch set is only available from 12pm to 5pm, and there is a discount of 20% for orders after 230pm.
Avocado rice paper roll - It was cut into 3 pieces. From the look of the photos, there were a fair bit of ingredients in it. There were sticky rice, avocado, carrot and lettuce in it. Sauce was provided to dip onto, to enhance the flavour. It was fresh, but the skin of the roll was slightly thick.
Vietnamese Banh Mi - It was cut into half and the portion look just right. For a person who was on diet, it was just enough. I drip some Sriracha chill sauce into my baguette, as i prefer it spicy. Bread was toasted hot, thus it was soft and crispy. Ham was cold and fresh as well. It was a nice attempt on their side, one of the better ones in Hong Kong.I top up for another $12 for mango juice. It was thick and sweet.
