When boyfriend asked me where do I want to have for lunch, I remember this place we walked by one evening called Egg For All. It was closed but I thought the name was funny along with the logo. Looking it up, I discovered they served omurice. So, that was what I wanted for lunch. Omurice. The place is located on the bottom floor of an industrial building. The place is located on the bottom floor of an industrial building. Walking in, it was larger than expected with all sorts of egg themed decor.
Menu is in Chinese only. There is no English and no 10% service charge. Sets include a drink and daily appetizer. Also, all food involved some sort of egg.
Boyfriend ordered a pork chop and egg over rice ($48). The daily appetizer was sesame spinach salad. To me, I felt there wasn't enough sesame but it was ok. The egg yolk was still nice and runny. The pork chop was a bit on the salty side but boyfriend felt it was good.
I had the omurice ($68) because that's why I wanted to come. It looked perfect!
But slicing it open .. it didn't flow. It was overcooked. I don't blame them really. It's pretty difficult to make. Other than that, it tasted ok. The rice was well seasoned and there were plenty of chicken bits found throughout.
Portion size was just enough for me though boyfriend felt it wasn't enough for him and he already took most of my rice. Food was ok and the place was clean. Would I come back? Unsure but we never really know.
