First impression I’ll give a pass because the braised pork knuckle looks just like those sold in really old cart noodles food stalls on the street back in the old days. Just as this 40+ years old pork knuckle guru advocates, the pork knuckle is well fermented with a browny skin with an obvious layer of fats (or collagen lol) underneath. It might not be suitable for those who are looking for more meat than fats but anyways i like the collagen-y feel. Tastes flavourful and good to eat with the noodles. They also provided a cup of soup for you to pour in. The broth is relatively clean and light in flavour.
🥟Deep fried siu mai
Deep fried siu mai has become quite a popular way to eat siu mai these days. I’d say this is one of the best deep fried siu mais I’ve ever had. It’s added with just enough amount of salt and pepper. Wish it comes in a larger portion tho.
