We have been to Blue Smoke on several occasions now and I will not be going back. Each visit the standards of the food appear to be dropping and the service has made a massive nose dive. As we sat down we order some drinks...... 5 minutes later the same waitress that took our drinks order asked us again if we wanted any drinks, we pointed out that she had already taken our drinks order but she got very defensive and claimed we hadn't ordered. At this point we should really have walked out but
We order a few appertiser snacks to have whilst waiting for our main but all the food arrived at the same time..... well I say all the food, one main meal some fried chicken appeared to be missed off the order. When the waitress came to check our food was okay we pointed out the missing meal..... she went away and rather than apologising for either her own mistake or the kitchens mistake of missing the meal she provided an interesting story about fried chicken that takes almost 30 minutes longer to cook than all our other meals.
I understands mistakes are made but I expect people to hold up their hands and apologise and not come up with fabracated stories.
What in my opnion used to be a good quality US BBQ Diner has lost its way with the food and service.
