A dinner gathering with foodie friends in their home court; the buffet bar was small but satisfying with assorted sashimi that was quite fresh. The boiled crayfish was slightly over-frozen but substantial. The Caesar salad with a unique dressing won my approval (even as a non-salad eater). The oysters (Gillardeau) were rich and creamy. The mango crab puff was hot and crispy, but it was topped by a clear tomato soup (pure Tomato Concentrate in capitals!!) that was the perfect match with the chees
The mango crab puff was hot and crispy, but it was topped by a clear tomato soup (pure Tomato Concentrate in capitals!!) that was the perfect match with the cheese ravioli submerged in it. The grilled lamb rack was lean yet tender. We were almost too full for desserts, but made room for the fruit platter and the tiramisu from the dessert corner. Turned out the ice cream (peach and yuzi) scoops were the highlight of the day; the yuzi had bits of fruits inside and the white peach was sweet but refreshing to the palate.
This was a dinner treat by hospitable friends, with the perfect service I was told this lovely meal only cost around $500-550 per capita! Wonderful isn't it?
