One of my best friend first brought me to this restaurant a few months ago and I loved the food. I then took some of my friends to dine there a few more times afterwards. We usually go at lunch time and dinner reservation is always full, you probably have to book a month in advance. On my birthday last month, my friend invited me back to Spoil Cafe again. We ordered 2 set lunches, Linguine Cream Fish and Penne Mushrooms Cream, we shared the 2 dishes together.
The Soup of the Day was Broccoli, taste average though.
The Cream Pasta is excellent, smells good and taste good, not too stuffy nor greasy. Two pieces of fish, thick cut and fresh. Good taste even with bones. Penne Mushroom is good too, very strong mushroom flavour.
A free hot drink comes with each set so I ordered a Rose Honey tea. The honey is separately plated so different customer may apply different amount of honey to their tea, very thoughtful. The honey makes perfect match to the fragrant Rose tea. At the end, how can we miss the famous dessert? We had Church Cake, taste mush better than Maxim's Angel cake, cream is smooth and caramel is crispy. Apart from its high quality food, Spoil Cafe's waiter and waitress are very friendly and their services is excellent. My rating, two thumbs up!
