Had a company lunch in Lawry's. The decoration, the atmosphere, and the taste of food live up to its reputation. Prime Rib is great, dessert ans salad is excellent.Service attitude is good. However, it needs better training or management. Food is served very slow and need too many times reminder. Noticed they did not write down the order, only by memory at the table. Service attitude is good. However, it needs better training or management. Food is served very slow and need too many times reminder. Noticed they did not write down the order, only by memory at the table. Waitress seem not able to follow up the complete orders.
A story to show insufficient training. I discovered the credit card bill was 600 dollars less than the actual bill spending and had to remind the waitress for this mistake. In addition, I saw her talking to supervisor afterward, but was quite disappointed she obnly brougt back a new credit bill to sign, but not even a "Thank you" or "Sorry" was said by her or supervisor. This probably won't happen in Lawry's USA.
Overall speaking, the value is not there. But it is a good place for special occasions.
