We booked a table for 4 in advance and we would still need to wait for another 15 minutes upon arrival over the Sunday lunch time. The restaurant is super busy hum!We ordered the following for our lunch:*Braised soup - including ingredients of garoupa bones, chicken meat, chickent feet, bamboo and some Chinese herbs. This one was delicious. We got 1 bowl each / for 4 persons.*Pigeon in soy sauce - this was done nicely, the sauce was a bit too strong. The texture was good, a bit tender and crispy
We ordered the following for our lunch:
*Braised soup - including ingredients of garoupa bones, chicken meat, chickent feet, bamboo and some Chinese herbs. This one was delicious. We got 1 bowl each / for 4 persons.
*Pigeon in soy sauce - this was done nicely, the sauce was a bit too strong. The texture was good, a bit tender and crispy.
*Chicken feet with abalone sauce - too creamy and too much while some of us liked it and some not.
*Steamed shrimp dumplings and siu mai - the skin was too soft and not chewy as expected
*Tofu - was great, very tender, great texture, tender and beautiful
*boiled vegetible - choi sum - was okay
*Stir-fried Yang Chow fried rice - very cold; my friends did not like it and we asked them to re-do it. It came back with some 'wok hei'.
It seemed a bit of under staff during the lunch time. we would have to wait and check our missing order, for example the vegetibles and steamed dumplings.
What's happended to Chung's?
While the environment was nice, we will come back and check.
