I liked that the prawn, cherry tomato and chilli linguini ($115) was on the saucy side, and that it had a prominent seafood flavour 👍🏻 ˘◡˘ 👍🏻 personally, I would like to add some chilli flakes + flaky salt to give it that extra oomph! The XO fried chicken wings ($90) were crispy on the outside and weren’t very juicy 😬, but the XO sauce was again really flavourful and only slightly spicy, so if you’re looking for a crispy fried chicken with south-Asian flavours (避風塘雞翼?🤔) but can’t do spice - this

The eggplant fritters ($45 / half portion) had a thin crispy shell on the outside and gave into a soft eggplant centre. Paired with the nutty manchego, the same romesco sauce and crunchy, refreshing cucumbers, it was flavourful yet light at the same time, and definitely a texturally satisfying veggie dish!
The Portuguese egg tart cookie from @cookievission caught our eye once we arrived (since we love egg tarts hehe) - the egg tart filling was actually even sweeter than the cookie base itself, but I liked the soft, kinda crumbly and ever-so-slightly chewy texture of the cookie. although, I have a feeling it would’ve been better if it had been warmed up prior to serving 🙈😗
+ bonus points for the pecans in the cookie!! definitely made me like the cookie moree🧡 if I were to get a Cookie Vission cookie, I’d probably get a plain one as the egg tart filling is too sweet for my liking ><

Their jam-filled doughnut ($25 / 1 pcs.) was on the dense side (a little bit disappointing), but I liked the acidic-sweet balance of the raspberry jam filling! but I don’t think anything compares to the QVM doughnuts in Melbourne :3
