With no doubt, I am a bread monster, I love bread! I've always wanted to check out Le pain Quotidien for their bakeries, but the lineup was too crazy when it first opened. The bread basket was mediocre for this price, to my surprise the toasts weren't served warm!

As for the granola parfait with fresh fruit, the portion was tiny...there were only 6 cubes of fresh fruits, two table spoons of
granola, and two layers of yogurt...All of this costs $68.
I have looked at previous reviews before I visit LPQ, I agree with some reviews that the food was overpriced. But I think the price was mainly for the environment rather than for the food itself. Well overall, did I enjoy the lunch? Yes, I did enjoyed the patio - although it was at the heart of wanchai, the decal and the garden theme made me felt like I was somewhere far...But the food certainly didn't live up to my expectation.
