As everyone knew, Yuen Long is a place for food junkies. Every other corner of the district is filled with eateries, by small and large. After we have finished our dinner, we proceed to walk over to this famous dessert stall in Yuen Long. It was located within walking distance from Yuen Long MTR. Shop was quite small in size, accomodating 10 over people. Half way into my desserts, then i realize that the shop beside belong to them too, without any decoration. It was located within walking distance from Yuen Long MTR. Shop was quite small in size, accomodating 10 over people. Half way into my desserts, then i realize that the shop beside belong to them too, without any decoration.
Their menu is very extensive, ranging from ice cream, pastries and drinks etc. They even have few boards outside the shop and on the shop's wall, informing customers what are their most popular desserts ordered. I really have a hard time making up my mind, as those desserts on the menu look very tempting.
In the end, i go for the top 3 dessert that customers ordered, a dessert named 'Stars, Moon & Sun'. It was an interesting name and the pastry chef really made an effort to display the dessert as the name suggests. Mango sago pomelo will be the stars. Beside it were bits of yellow jelly that are shaped in stars. It was very refreshing, with watery texture. Mango napoleon was very crispy, with thin slice of mango in between each piece.
Lastly, mango ice cream was placed in a cup, with drops of mango syrup surrounding the cup that make it look like a sun. Mango ice cream was very refreshing, combining the sweet and sour taste of the mango.
Overall, this dessert stall prides themselves on serving excellent desserts with nice presentation. All their desserts were made on the spot, which means it will take quite a while for it to be served.
