After having a light dinner, we planned to have desserts after that. We went to Chayamachi, a Japanese restaurant known for their food and desserts. Iced matcha milk - Matcha powder was added on top of the milk, thus it was very milky and smooth, with strong matcha taste. Red bean was added to it, thus it was sweet as well.
Matcha mille crepe cake - It was beautifully presented, with layer and layer of cake in it. Red bean paste was added into those layers, thus it was sweet and have strong matcha taste, complimenting nicely.
Matcha warabi mochi - It was slightly different from those typical mochi, in a way that it was more jelly-like and sweet, yet still chewy. There were alot of matcha powder on it too.
Matcha mochi - It was small and round in shape, with matcha powder spread on top. It was chewy and smooth, with sweet paste filling in it making it sweet in taste.
Raindrop cake - This is a popular dessert in Japan, made of water and agar. It was jelly like in texture, soft and smooth, with soy bean powder and brown sugar syrup at the side for us to mix with. It was sweet and appetizing.
Japanese pudding cake - It was baked using caramel, pudding and castella cake. It was sweet in taste and soft, able to taste the 3 ingredients at one go at different layers.
