A box of nicely presented mooncake comes with 4 pieces and each piece was nicely sealed with dehydrating pack. The matcha was the bittersweet type which I prefer more than those really sweet and milky one. The matcha flavour was extraordinary and I could instantly smell it as soon as I opened the packages. The rather dark green colour showed how concentrated the matcha powder was.

The shell was a little crunchy while the filling was soft. You may either enjoy it chilled, in room temperature, or reheat it in microwave for 10 seconds for 2-3 times, or in oven for around 10 mins. I always like my mooncake warm and I have microwave it. It was also good that it won’t fall apart after reheating. It was also not too oily so I kinda feel like this can be a slightly healthier version of mooncake with less butter and sugar at the same time. I am going to recommend this to my friends but I also have to remind them that they will have to pre-order them at least 3 days in advance!
