This wan chai store is the first five guys in HK. There are large billboards so it is easy to find. The store is in the basement.The place is clean and comfortable with sufficient lighting on the first sight.All waiters waitresses are speaking in English. They are very friendly. All the utensils are disposable and self serve needed. They use paper bags for eat in and take away orders.
Our favourite are milkshakes, very smooth and rich. Bacon is really a MUST, crunchy and salty . you can still find lots of bacon after you finish the drink

The large fries is freshly made, the portion is about two large cups as below showed. can’t compare to other mmmm fast food shop. try tip in ketchup and pepper, taste so good!
my friend don’t eat beef so he ordered a sandwich. We expected the bread should be different in “burger” and “sandwich” but they are the same things in ?American style.Again, we expected the burgers wrapped in foil should be hot, or at least warm. They supposed to be freshly made right?
Very disappointed with that, only the beef is warm, all other ingredients, even the bread is not warm enough .
Little size is very enough to me, and to most hong kong people too.
We are not fans of peasants so can’t comment of those free 🥜.
I am willing to have the milkshake again but not the burgers.
ps the washroom here is clean
