Great British style sports pub serving up pub favorites. Was in the mood for a burger and my friend recommended that we try the burger at Dicken's. It was a large bar with your traditional large TVs, dark wood and green walls. Filled with mostly visitors and single businessmen, we were greeted with peaunts and a large and impressive tap beer menu. Love that they have happy hour prices on booze until 8pm weekdays. Decided to indulge on a burger. This burger was MASSIVE. It had a juicy patty, topped with lettuce, tomato, garlic aioli, beet root, cheese, bacon and a fried egg. Not to mention a side of french fries. It was delicious and quite difficult to eat, however very satisfying. My only compliant on the burger was that the patty could have used some salt or seasoning to enhance the entire burger.
After our 1500 caloric meal, we were then surprised with a serving of bread pudding, which was warm and a nice touch.
Will def. be back for sports games and the happy hour beers, hopefully trying out the fish n chips (which looked great!)
