Open Oyster is my favorite choice for a Friday night simmer down dinner. After a long and tiring work week, I love gathering with a few girlfriends to sip on wine and munch on great seafood. The environment is a quaint restaurant in TST, in the midst of the hustling and bustling city centre, it's rare to find such a quiet venue OUTDOORS! The oysters have always been fresh, service is so personal that after going there for about two times, the waitress knew me by name! Unbelievable! The cooked oysters are just as great as the raw oysters. Grilled in house and on the spot. (Takes a little time but oh my, worth the wait!) Other than the cooked oysters, their regular menu is just as good. The friendly chef would always come out to chat and learned that he got his skills from none other than Cordon Bleu. Wow.. small restaurant but high calibre people! The steak is a MUST!
They also have a great deal on wines too... so be prepared to drink and eat lots! We spent around$300-400 per person including wines.. pretty decent for their quality of food. This must be my favorite restaurant!
The only thing I got to say is that if you are in a hurry, this wouldn't be a good choice. I usually spend the whole evening here.. don't make plans to go anywhere after.. you will most probably end up cancelling.
