I was pleasantly surprised with the egg truffle sandwich. Usually it's very hard to cooked eggs excellently, most places either overlook or undercook them. In this sandwich the egg was cooked to perfection with a hint of truffle, which complemented the egg. The creamy mushroom penne pasta was just as its name suggested. La palette "passion" with roasted vegetables. Was basically a pizza crepe. Very light and makes a yummy snack. It came with a good variety and generous amount of vegetables, giving it a colourful yet mouth watering appearance. To me, the food must also look as good as it tastes.
Although I love hot chocolate, I'm afraid the hot chocolate at passion wasn't really for me. I tried so hard to love it. It was very rich and chocolately which was the good part. But the consistency was not so great, it was very thick and gloopy. Imagine drinking a super thick milkshake but hot....hmm..what do you think of that? I even tried adding some warm water to dilute it out a bit. The taste was still there and was not diluted by the water, but never was the consistency of the drink. It remains just as thick. All in all I love visiting passion, but I think I will give the hot chocolate a miss next time ;)
