Two of us went on the Monday night of CNY, and the place is moderately busy, with plenty of spare tables. Our waitress took us to our table which was inches away from a family outing with six noisy children. When we requested a quieter table she looked annoyed, but gave us a quiet booth.Drinks arrived promptly, which can not be said for the food. Drinks arrived promptly, which can not be said for the food. After almost a half hour wait the bread basket arrived, followed a minute later by our order.
Could not the bread have been offered for us to nibble on during the long wait?
The half rack of ribs was well cooked, but came from a very small pig. The fries were good.
Caesar salad was generous with the parmesan cheese, but anchovy, a main ingredient of a caesar, was totally missing.
My wife enjoyed the chicken wings, but said Outbacks was better.
I felt the sides were crazy expensive. $52 for some steamed broccoli, $50 for sauteed mushroom, and an outrageous $80 for asparagus. Sheer greed.
The waiter did not understand a request for a glass of house red wine and had to call over the head waiter to translate. The wine, when it arrived, was a very pleasant Chilean red.
I thought that $500 for what we had, a starter portion of wings, fries and half rack of ribs, was expensive.
