I came here with my family on a rainy Monday night.We got a membership card for this restraurant, so we could enjoy a 10% off~This resturant is a bit difficult to find even though it located at Silvercord Center. You can pick any courses you like in the menue without repeat the same courses.
For example, for a 3-course meal, you can either do Appetizer + Soup+ Main or Soup+ Main + Dessert. So you can make your own combination. They also provide more than 5 options for each course, so there are lots of vairety!
At the end, I ordered a 3-course meal with appetizer+main+dessert!
Atmosphere ( 7.5/10)
The atmosphere is really nice and romantic. There were many couples sitting next to us even though it was Monday. It is definitely a nice dinning place for dating.
FOOD
French Bread ( 9/10)
It comes with the set meun. I would say this was the best french bread I had so far. The bread is very soft and easy to chew. They heat the bread a bit so it is warm when you tasted it. It tasted so good with the butter as the warmth melt the butter a bit.
Escargots(7/10)I ordered this as my appetizer. It was filled with herb & butter sauce and the escargots were soft and creamy. It was served together with some mashed potato underneath. Just that, the mashede potato was really oily. Yet, it taste good!
My aunt ordered this. It is a spanish ham with sweet melon.I didn't try this but it really looked so nice
US steak with fries & veggies ( 6.5/10)I picked steak for my main. I ordered medium rare which when it served, can still a pinkish red in the middle and the steak were cooked to the level I wanted! Yet, the steak itself was not that stunning.It was just okay for me. The fries & veggies just soso. Not very impressed.
My aunt ordered the baby lamb.I tried this and the lamb was really tender ( It seemed to be cooked in pressure cooker) and the taste of the lamb was so strong!! I almost choked when I have it. Well, I am not a big fan of the strong lamb taste ( but I actually eat lamb rack).
Apple tart with cinnamon ice-cream ( 7.5/10)It was a really nice dessert to end this meal. The cinnamon ice-cream was really delicious and could match with the hot apple tart. It really like a sauce to the tart as it melted on the appple tart. Just a little room for improvement was the pastry itself. All the flavours were therebut the pastry was so hard and I could barely cut them apart. But still I finished the whole dessert as it was really tasty!!
In general, the food was nice but still have room for improvement ( you won't think it taste bad). The service was good and the atmosphere was romantic which make it a prefect place for dating without costing a lot of money.張貼
