Gave this restaurant a special visit after the tv coverage by Ah So! Upon arriving, noticed that the restaurant is consulted by some Michelin chef and it was a french cuisine. Sat down and looked at the menu, thought the set menu price was quite cheap for French cuisine and was worried the food was going to be sub standard to cater for the price range. The food turned out to be enjoyable. The japanese sushi & tempura starter was normal, nothing exiciting but nothing bad.The soup was average.

The food turned out to be enjoyable.
The japanese sushi & tempura starter was normal, nothing exiciting but nothing bad.
The soup was average. Texture was fine but taste could be abit richer.
The quails with mash potato was a nice petite dish.
The steak was great. It was actually a fresh piece of rib eye that has the taste and texture of a steak. Unfortunately, it was a little overcooked.
The apple crumble and icecream was great. The apple crumble was a proper crumble rather than ready-made puddings. Well done.
Overall, a easy place for dinner...easy on the wallet and enjoyable place to be.
Overall, meal was enjoyable and good value.
