We were lucky enough to book the last table of La Loggia which was fully booked last week! The environment was perfect. Except that the window which is supposed to be a very nice view was blocked by the outdoor seats (the smoking area!)... Means if u want to have a nice view, u need to go outside to endure the smoke. Once sit down, we were given this tiny little thing together with the bread. Can't really taste what's inside... It's a bit too small to taste.
Then, we ordered:
Bisque of Crayfish
- just tooooo salty! I need to use the bread to company this all the way.
Traditional fish soup served with garlic croutons, cheese & rouille sauce
- friend's order. Compared to the mine, this is a much more normal tasted one.
Penne with "seven hours" slow cooked lamb shoulder
- This is nice. And we were lucky to order the dish with Penne instead of just lamb shoulder as the main. The pasta in Agnes b restaurants are always a promise. A bit ironic coz this is supposed to be a French restaurant!
Roasted Pork Medallion, flayoone zucchini roll, sauteed apple in Port wine shallot sauce
- The pork is a bit tender. But I like the sauce a lot. It tastes a bit like Foie Gras sauce.
