Memoir is a fusion restaurant located in CircleTower in Causeway Bay. It is a nice restaurant for special occasions and celebration. The mains were quite impressive and delicious. The Japanese-inspired pasta features a delicate sauce of sweet and briny sea urchin, rich cream, and white wine. It was incredibly flavourful and creamy. The pan seared scallop was golden on the outside and sweet and tender on the inside, with a decent buttery aftertaste, loved it!
The salmon wellington was another decent surprise. The salmon fillet is placed on a bed of sauteed seaweed, wrapped in puff pastry, and baked to crunchy perfection. The wasabi sauce on the side is very refreshing and it pairs perfectly with the dish.
Their set dinner menu are good value for money, ranging from $368 to $468, depending on the choice of main. Do give it a try if you happen to be in Causeway Bay next time!
