I had seen the big advertisement of this restaurant outside its building for quite a number of times passing by and finally had the chance to try it out for lunch. It wasn't full at all on a week day during lunch time. There were 3 choices of deep-fried food which I tried all. The spring roll was cold and hard. But the triangular 咖哩角 tasted quite good. I had 2.
There were also 4 choices of vegetarian curry and 4 choices of meat curry (2 chicken and 2 fish). The meat curry was quite good, some was more spicy while some was not really. The level of spiciness was acceptable even to me who didn't fancy too spicy food. I particularly liked the chicken curry as the chicken was pretty tender. The chicken tikka was too dry to me. The egg curry tasted good too (it was claimed to be fish curry but I couldn't see any fish).
There were also 2 choices of rice which I didn't try. I tried the garlic naan but they were too cold and hard.
I also tried their desserts, of which I didn't take any photo. Without much expectation, their rice-pudding-like dessert was not overly sweet and actually tasted quite good! The rice-ball-like ball was too too sweet. Although I was a fan of sugar, I couldn't finish the whole ball.
Iced lemon tea was self-serviced which I didn't try. Some of my friends said it was too sweet while some said it was less sweet than thought.
It was quite a nice place for a chat as it was not noisy at all and it was not full.
Would definitely consider coming back some day when I crave Indian food. Having said that, coming here too frequently will definitely bore me out.
