A newly opened restaurant, happened to locate above some chinese majog club so we almost missed the building as it presented a different impression than we had expected.

The feeling changed completely when the lift door opend at 3rd floor, we stepped into an european restaurant which was dimly lit with a nice wine display at the entrance. Part of the restaurant has normal dining tables, and along the wall there are few low sofa I think they are there mainly for Happy Hours.

We were surprised by their corkage at $150 per bottle, after negotiating with the captain we were able to get $100 for 2 bottles we brought. I think they made it more reasonable as the restaurant only had 2 tables of customer (us included).

Set dinner has 6 courses, we chose $398 set which main course was Angus steak. Appitizers were parma ham and shrimp each in bite size. Then came the pumpkin soup which the restaurant was kind enough to split into 2 bowls for us to share. Then there was a Caesar Salad. A cup of sorbert was offered after these dishes to refresh our taste before main courses were served. We additionally ordered half-slab of baby pork back ribs ($168), and the portion turned out to be bigger than our expectation. The captain came along to let us know the chef gave us more than normal portion, a nice surprise! Then cups (x2 this time) of sorbert were served, and dessert afterwards. I forgot the name of it, but it tasted like egg/yogurt pudding with a soft texture. We were both tooooo full at the point we couldn't take any tea of coffee......

Food was nicely cooked, presented and taste was good. Enviornment continued to be quiet as there were only 4 tables of customer by the time we left. Nice european music was being played to enhance the dining environment, although it was ruined at the end of our dinner because the TV screens were switched on to show football matches though luckily the sound was muted......

We paid $666 before 10% service charge, and I think it's a good deal given the quality of food and restaurant environement. Lower price of set dinner is available with pasta as main course. Although we think the portion of set dinner (6 courses!) is too much for a normal stomach, I would reccommend the restaurant to offer choices with fewer courses at more affordable prices. And I hope they will consider to waive corkage as a way to attract more wine-loving customers.

After the dinner, we witnessed a cleaning lady transferring a trolley of dirty dishes from downstairs to upper floors using the lift...... and we were left with a lift full of disgusting smell
which immediately reminded us we were still in Kwun Tong instead of some nice european restaurants.....
