The lunch crowd at Kwun Tong can be pretty frightening, as there are alot of industrial and commercial buildings around. As i was alone today, I decided to take a quick lunch bite before heading back to work again. After looking at few stores, I decided to have some light snacks and Taiwanese bubble tea. Their lunch set was quite reasonable, ranging from $35 to $40. It consisted of a sandwich or noodles and a drink. Besides that, they offered Taiwanese light snacks and bubble tea as well.
Cheese beef sandwich - I chose this as i wanted to go for something light and it looked appetizing. The bun was toasted till soft and crispy and the cheese was melting hot and the beef slices were tender as well.
Green tea with red bean - This is one of their signature drink and it certainly did not disappoint. The green tea was strong and the drink was silky smooth. The texture of the red bean was small and soft and it goes well with the green tea.
I added 3 mushroom balls and 3 cuttlefish balls as i was still not full yet. It was grilled till chewy and soft, but was slightly oily though.
