Summer is super hot in Hk and it is always a good idea to have something special but cold!! These days I saw a lot of people sharing the post of tuttimelon!! OMG tuttimelon now sells nitrogen ice cream as well, to a tuttimelon fans like me, I should definitely try one before I leave.When I arrived tuttimelon, I saw a tuttimelon girl making some nitrogen ice cream!! When I arrived tuttimelon, I saw a tuttimelon girl making some nitrogen ice cream!! The set up of it was just like Lab Made, a mixer n some ingredients!! As there was a promotion, 2scoops for $38, I ordered one which was the chocolate Oreo flavor!!
Maybe because the nitrogen ice cream was newly released so there were a lot of people trying it instead of having frozen yogurt. I waited for around 10mins and I finally got mine.Disappointingly, when I received it, it was already melting... Is it because there is not enough nitrogen??
As you can see from my photo, there was a piece of normal Oreo n 2 scoops of Oreo colored ice cream, nothing surprised me!! There were also 2 pieces of tiny pink chocolate heart for decoration!! Although the look of it was not attractive at all, I did hope it tasted oppositely...However, it tasted even worse!! It did not even have a taste of Oreo and it was not how an ice cream should be, it was melting, liquified ice cream tasted awful as it had an unknown smooth texture just like having a cup of sweet drink. Despite the fact that there were some chocolate crisp, tiny button milk and white chocolate, the overall combination did NOT work that well!! It was kind of a waste to mix all the ingredients together, those ingredients would taste much better both on their own or simply adding them in the frozen yogurt!!
Nitrogen ice cream produced by Tuttimelon disappointed me, maybe because they were not expert like Lab Made but I do hope they can improve a bit by adding a bit more nitrogen!! There is also a SMOOFY corner which is also a new product of tuttimelon... but after this experience... I still don't know whether I should take RISK to try it or just go fot the normal frozen yogurt!!
