went to try the special guest chef's moroccan/labanese with girlfriends at H One last night. we ordered a mixed mezze for two: three kinds of dips (hummus, beetroot, and carrot - all delicious), some little appetizers and a plate of pita bread - 4 pcs. when we asked for more pita bread to go with the dips, the waitress told us that we could not order just the pita and we have to order more dips! we said we are happy to pay for the pita but our request was refused. so we aksed to speak with t

went to try the special guest chef's moroccan/labanese with girlfriends at H One last night. we ordered a mixed mezze for two: three kinds of dips (hummus, beetroot, and carrot - all delicious), some little appetizers and a plate of pita bread - 4 pcs. when we asked for more pita bread to go with the dips, the waitress told us that we could not order just the pita and we have to order more dips! we said we are happy to pay for the pita but our request was refused. so we aksed to speak with the manager and she said there was a miscommunication - dont think so! the service really spoiled the evening as everyone is trying to tiptoe around us, asking if this is ok or if thats ok. really, i dont think this kind of service or lack of generosity is excusable when we are paying nearly $400 an entree. very disappointed and must remember not to go back anytime soon.
