pork rib's rub was appetizing until you bite in to the dry and tasteless protein. they were separated from the bone with ease, a little too easy for my liking as it's too dry.
dippers included deep fried shrimps and chicken fillet. the batter was too much on the shrimp and the rub on chicken was too heavy. i suspect they had their oil on the whole day (a common practice regardless of price of the meal? i honestly did not expect that out of a moderately priced restaurant having over used oil, let alone most of their businesses are dealt during dinner time).
caeser was fine, although the portabella wasn't quite enough but that's acceptable
the shrimp parmesan pasta tasted like a fast fixed dinner from the fridge. the shrimp was ok but given the portion there was just too little of them to split from. it's bland and more like an half-arse effort.
total was 1200 for 4 without discount, i will let you guys sort out the math as this restaurant obviously runs on membership consider their 50% off jargon.
would i visit ruby tuesday again? yes because we paid for the time-limited paid membership.
but would i come again after the membership expired? not for a 300dollar dinner. i don't mind going for a drink though.
the drink was tasty anyho.
add: the waiter was ridiculous to ask if we need mustard and gave us a chinese translation of such during the brief moment of ponder. i don't find it offensive but that's silly.
they mentioned about dedicated waiter and we had dealt with 4 during the course south of two hours; i don't care about this at this price range though, just though i don't leave out the details.
