This is my third time visiting Brunch Club and in my memory, it served very delicious pasta with a comfortable and chill environment. I do understand that it was perhaps a busy weekend when we went, but when we arrived on Saturday afternoon, we were given seats outdoors. Unfortunately, Hong Kong weather isn't great and it felt really stuffy and the fan wasn't on either, and even if it was, we were too far way from it to fee the breeze. I do understand that it was perhaps a busy weekend when we went, but when we arrived on Saturday afternoon, we were given seats outdoors. Unfortunately, Hong Kong weather isn't great and it felt really stuffy and the fan wasn't on either, and even if it was, we were too far way from it to fee the breeze.
I ordered the Wild Mushroom Risotto with Cream sauce ($85) and it was okay. The risotto rice was rather undercooked and hard. The mushrooms tasted nice and fresh, but I felt that there were too many, and personally I would've loved it more if there were more risotto rice. The cream sauce was the winner of the dish, with good consistency and creaminess.
Also, I ordered a mango smoothie plus yoghurt ($50) which was not as good as I expected. The mango didn't have much flavour and it was rather sour too. I expected the smoothie to be thicker, especially with the yoghurt added, but it didn't seem to e the case.
