Was in ISQUARE for Marugame Udon but unfortunately the store was closed for the Chinese New Year holiday. Ramen Santouka was right next door and happened to be open, so I decided to give it a try.The menu basically consists of a few varieties of ramen (Salt, Soy Sauce, Miso, Spicy Miso, Dipping) and optional side dishes, such as fried pork cutlet, sushi, grilled scallop rice, crab croquette, etc. The ramen style seems to be from the Hokkaido region.Ordered a Spicy Miso Ramen - Small size (Medium

Ordered a Spicy Miso Ramen - Small size (Medium and Large are also available) $63 plus a hard boiled flavored egg $17. The side dishes didn't look particularly appetizing so didn't bother to try. Beverages are on the pricey side starting from $20-$25 for soda / oolong tea.
The portion is actually enough for one person (or I wasn't particularly hungry) and the soup was actually nicely flavorful without being too salty. Although there was a generous dollop of chili oil, the overall blend was nice. The ramen comes with two slices of nicely done, tender cha shu pork, as well as the usual scallions, bamboo shoots and black fungus. I don't remember seeing any seaweed.
The egg was nicely done - not too salty and with a liquid yolk. It's cold so you should leave it in the soup for a while and eat it towards the end.
Overall, I thought this was a nice ramen experience but a little bit on the pricey side at $88 including service charges.
Seating is comfortable though a bit cozy, and service is brisk but cordial.
