Foie Gras with Poele (8/10)
The foie gras was cooked well, not too oily or raw. It was served on roasted pears and bread. All the components tasted good together.
French Onion Soup (5/10)
Quite a lot of cheese, but the bread and soup could have used a bit more salt. Pretty decent but not as good as the one I once had in Paris.
Meuniere Style Sole (6/10)
The sole was not overcooked, but was bit on the oily side. The sauce provided a good contrast to it. Not particularly amazing though.
Confit duck leg (4/10)
The duck leg was very salty, and slightly burnt. Tasted a bit like Chinese salty ham!
Chocolate Fondue (5/10)
Decent for the price. They could have gave us a bit more stuff to dip though.
Crème Brulee (6/10)
Good glaze on the crème brulee, and the vanilla ice cream was really good!
The actual custard wasn’t that great though.
Overall (5/10)
The food was decent but nothing special. Might be worth a try with the AMEX gourmet club discount.
