Went for dinner, it was difficult to find parking nearby, and Miramar was full... I had to wait for my friend who was late. So I took the liberty of ordering food.Browsing through the menu, it was mostly what one would find in a regular japanese restaurant, the daily specials were on a separate piece of paper, there were many choices of "fresh fish", which makes me wonder if all of them really are jet-set fresh that day, every day.... i just went for the sushi set platter, some udon, stewed pump
Browsing through the menu, it was mostly what one would find in a regular japanese restaurant, the daily specials were on a separate piece of paper, there were many choices of "fresh fish", which makes me wonder if all of them really are jet-set fresh that day, every day.... i just went for the sushi set platter, some udon, stewed pumpkin, tempura, temaki, salad, cold tofu etc... nothing special, and they tasted alright, but not spectacular.
The waiters and waitresses were a bit inattentative and kept ignoring my plea for more tea, or to place orders, or anything else really.... it was quite noisy, there were some japanese people, but there were also families with kids around.... rowdy kids...
and they overcharged me for an item that was $490 which we never had... thankfully it was a rather large sum so I thought it was strange that the bill came to over $1500.... but they corrected it after i pointed out the "mistake"... if it were other smaller items i might have missed it already... sigh, ng duk.
