My friend and I went to this place to grab some cupcakes for a baby shower. Have had this so many times before, and they never once let me down. The cake itself is so spongey and soft. It almost melts in your mouth. The toppings are but simple and delicious - not overly sweet, unlike many other cupcakes with loads of frosting. My favorite are the salted caramel (had to pick two. too difficult to choose between them!). They taste sooooo delicious, and it's not easy to find a caramel cupcake with JUST about the right amount of sweetness.
The kids' favorite goes to strawberry. The cream is light, with a tinge of strawberry flavor that's not too artificial. And they look really pretty - one of the girls described it as a "princess' cupcake".
The guys' favorite is unsurprisingly the lemon meringue - it has a refreshing and zesty flavor, which might lead you into thinking cupcakes aren't too much of a "devil junk food" afterall.
Overall, I'd give Sift a 9/10.
