The Boathouse is one of the better options along the Stanley waterfront. I don't really like the staff from the other neighboring restaurants asking you to come and sit down etc, its so touristy and makes me feel like i'm in Thailand. Have been here a number of times before - never disappointed for lunch and dinner - so this review is just for my most recent lunch.
Ahi Tuna sandwich: this was fine, the tuna was cooked fine and came on some sort of panini-like sandwich with a few pieces of tomato, lettuce and aioli. A good enough portion of fries. Overall the taste of it all was fine, and the portion was certainly enough. No need for an appetizer.
Fish n Chips: we also ordered this and was a very sizeable portion, around 5 good sized pieces.
Its nice to be able to sit outside and its usually full.
