Texas Burger is not stranger to us and I guess it's time to re-visit this place again for a really satisfying burger lunch. The place is still decorated with lots of American decor and a neon light logo is placed facing the front door of the restaurant. Throughout the whole day, the menu is pretty standard with burger sets that consists of a burger of your choice, fries, pickles, and a drink with additional cost. And you may also add extra portabello, coleslaw or other toppings for different cost.
Some alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available on the menu too!
Gorgonzola Blue Cheese Beef Burger $88The burger is surprisingly big in size with two pieces of buttered toasted really crispy burger bun, sandwiching 6oz beef pattie, baked crisp bacon, beet and cider relish, french fried onion, lettuce, and melted gorgonzola blue cheese.
I have also topped up an additional portabello mushroom for $18. I liked that the burger is crispy from the bacon as well as the fried onion, while the pattie is very juicy because it has been cooked to medium! The beets also adds a nice moisture to the burger and a good balance with the savouy blue cheese with a strong flavour.
The beef pattie has been seasoned well with some savoury bacon so the burger is pretty salty on its own. Though the pattie is nicely cooked, there are some hard bits in the meat. Overall, it is still a decent burger for $88.
Seasoned fries is perfectly fried with a strong seasoning, and the seasoning is quite similar to the store-bought wedges. Compared to duck fat fries, this version has an even stronger taste.
Pickle such a nice authentic American way to enjoy burger and it's just great to have someone sour while having a really fatty juicy savoury burger.
Homemade lemonade +$38Lastly, I must recommend you their lemonade which is absolutely delicious. It't too sweet first of all, and it has a whole halved lemon in the drink. It's sour but not too sour, just how I liked it. I would highly recommend you to order this if you are not a fan of their really delicious yet calorific milkshake!
