Came across this restaurant while looking for Vietnamese food. Laos cuisine sounds interesting and the reviews seem positive, so I decided to give it a try. Turned out to be a huge disappointment. The food was like a less refined version of Vietnamese food. I had a cold vermicelli dish and a rice paper roll. While the portion was generous, the food didn’t look appealing at all and honestly a bit dirty. There was also a tiny bug trying to get a taste of my meal the whole time. As both dishes contained quite a bit of raw vegetables, I was seriously worried that I might get food poisoning. The food was so bad that I felt the urge of eating something else afterwards to rinse my palate.
There were only four customers the night I was there, so perhaps this would be a better choice for those looking for a cheap lunch option and with little concern of the quality (which seems to be the majority of the reviewers on this place). If you’re looking for a place with decent food, then this is not a place you’d wanna go!
