When Antique was first opened, my girlfriends and I "ooohed" and "ahhhed" at the daintily decorated tea shop and the equally daintily decorated cakes. Out of pure curiosity, I bought home the most attractive Napoleon (the pastry with sectioned strawberries on the side), and a more conservative cheesecake. The strawberries, pastry, cheese were all quite tasteless and odourless, and the textures were both could have been described as pretty solid.
Especially at that price...
I could keep looking at the cakeshop and the cakes forever and ever, but would rather leave the taste to my imaginations.
