I've heard of this restaurant for a while but was always hesitant to try because everything about this place, from the name to the decor, gave me the impression that the food might be gimmicky and not worth the price. But recently I was looking for restaurants with a good discount and was surprised to find that Lee Lo Mei was doing 40% discount at 6:30pm if you make a reservation through the app. Time to finally give this place a try!Long story short, the food was overpriced, as I expected. Long story short, the food was overpriced, as I expected. However, the price is acceptable when discounted. Everything tasted good, but it just wasn't worth the full price. You can get food of similar or even better quality at a cha chan teng/fast food place.
We also got to try their Happy Hour drinks. The cocktails were $78 each and tasted ok. I would say the drinks are more impressive than the food. No wonder the restaurant was packed downstairs when I arrived. The downstairs section seems to be more for casual drinks, whereas the second floor, where we sat, is more for dining, though you can order drinks upstairs as well.
