we lucked out in choosing bacar after walking along the street in soho. we went upstairs in a very cozy room. the staff told us that we had to finish before a 9 o'clock reservation for that table. no problem, since we planned to have some snack before a bar gathering elsewhere!the triple appetizer had green & kalamata olives and artichoke heart -- top quality. the fried potatoes were piping hot and crispy -- never have such good taste even in the western world where we traveled. the tasmania mus
the triple appetizer had green & kalamata olives and artichoke heart -- top quality. the fried potatoes were piping hot and crispy -- never have such good taste even in the western world where we traveled. the tasmania mussels in wine sauce were plum & juicy -- again surpassed the other mussels that we had in europe or america. warm crispy bread was served and replenished on request. finally the mushroom pizza was fantastic -- sliced portobella and wild mushrooms with greenery on top. right amount of cheese, good flavors, crispy and not soggy. i never imagine i can find such outstanding pizza in hong kong!
service was great and friendly. i'll be back next time to have wine and other dishes.
