The food was bad and over priced. Ordered a set menu it comes with salad and a drink. The salad is just the salad leaf that usually comes on the side of any burger meal but they serve it separately as a starter. Drink come with the set menu was ridiculously small. I mean lemon tea is pretty much just tea and lemon right? Why so stingy? The fish burger was a major disappointment, for $138 plus service charge, you don’t expect it to be exactly the same fillet-o-fish as they serve in McDonald. I m

The drink staff and the kitchen staff manner was terrible (they might actually be the owner of this restaurant) but the waitress was super polite. We saw the review and thought it was a good restaurant and made a booking to have lunch after our morning hike. We were a group of 9, and were the only customer when we arrived. Order 8 sets menu and two portion of fried chicken wings. But they only serve us 7 salads. Reminded them we are missing one. They insisted they have serve us the right number of salad only later realised thy thought we have ordered 7 sets but the system shows 8. So, fast forward, 30 mins after the food is served, the chef came out with an unpleasant face asking who were missing one salad, we raised our hand, he then walked pass us and gave it to the new customer who came after us. We protested and he said “I will give it to you later!!!” and stormed back to the kitchen. It’s not the salad is super good that we desired it so much at this point it’s more about the principle.
Unfortunately that’s not it is not it, one of our friend ordered a pizza and it only came after everyone have finished their meal including the 6 years old. It took more than an hour for the pizza to come and mind you we were their first customer on the day and guess what, the first pizza came out was again serve to the customer who came after us. It’s like the chef is determined to make our dinning experience to be miserable and frustrating.
I don’t understand how people can say the food was good, we order eight different set and they are either below average or average. Will not recommend to any body for the price, the taste and service. This is a restaurant you will definitely regret spending money and time in. Plenty of other choices in Shek-O, the opposite local Chinese noddle actually looks pretty clean and authentic.
